Terms & Conditions

Premier DJ Services – Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50% of the total balance) is required to secure your event date.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of deposit and signed agreement.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Client Cancellations:
    • More than 30 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another date within 12 months (subject to availability).
    • Less than 7 days: Full balance is due.
  • Company Cancellations:
    • In the rare event Premier DJ Services must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, equipment failure), a full refund of all payments made will be issued, and assistance in finding a replacement service may be offered.

3. Performance Requirements

  • Client must provide:
    • Safe and adequate power supply (minimum two 120V outlets).
    • Shelter or covered area if outdoors.
    • Reasonable access to the setup location (no excessive stairs or distance without prior notice).
  • Premier DJ Services requires 60–90 minutes of setup time before the event and 45–60 minutes for breakdown afterward.
  • Client agrees not to request music or performance that violates venue or local ordinances.

4. Equipment & Damages

  • The client is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss to Premier DJ Services’ equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or attendees.
  • No unauthorized persons are allowed to operate company equipment.
  • Premier DJ Services provides professional-grade sound and lighting equipment maintained to industry standards.

5. Liability

  • Premier DJ Services maintains liability insurance; however, we are not liable for:
    • Power failures or venue-related issues.
    • Interruptions due to acts of God, weather, or uncontrollable circumstances.
    • Damages or injuries resulting from guest negligence.

6. Music & Entertainment Selection

  • Music requests may be submitted up to 7 days prior to the event.
  • Premier DJ Services reserves the right to decline requests containing explicit, offensive, or copyrighted content if inappropriate for the audience or venue.

7. Photo Booths, Games, and Other Add-Ons

  • Use of photo booths, 360 booths, trivia, Muzingo music bingo, karaoke, or lawn games requires supervision by our staff.
  • Props and equipment must be handled responsibly; lost or broken items may incur replacement fees.
  • Client agrees to ensure guest participation aligns with event decorum and venue rules.

8. Venue Coordination

  • The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, venue approvals, and access for entertainment setup.
  • Client must notify venue management that amplified sound and lighting will be used.

9. Photography & Promotion

  • Premier DJ Services may capture photos or short video clips during events for promotional purposes, unless the client provides written notice declining consent before the event date.

10. Safety & Conduct

  • Premier DJ Services reserves the right to end the performance early without refund if:
    • Guests or attendees become aggressive, violent, or intoxicated to a degree that endangers staff or equipment.
    • Unsafe conditions persist despite warnings.

11. Governing Law

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
  • Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Pinellas County, Florida.

12. Agreement

By signing or submitting payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions stated herein.
